This man has been the subject of my admiration over that past few years. Glad to see a new pic.

On a different note:

Dear DJ, when I come visit I usually put on a music CD in the box as a back drop.

Today looking through the couple of thousand CD's in my library, I chose Rod Stewart's "Downtown Train" album. It's kind of pseudo-greatest album that I hadn't listened to in over ten years.

Track 3 came on and it stopped me in my tracks!

I know the song, and I remember it from when I was a kid. I never paid no mind to it. I guess I didn't really understand what it was about.

The song is titled: The Killing of Georgie(Part I and part II).

I had never thought of Rod Stewart as supporting the cause. I only bought the CD cause "Forever Young" was on it.

Why hasn't the community recognized his contribution to the cause? I've yet to hear or see of it? That song was released in the late seventies when the cause was a fledgling!

Why haven't we the community given him our reverance, our respect, for giving us this eternal gift?

Just wondering?

Happy Holidays, My Friend!

Dear DJ,

An addendum to my previous post:

Rod Stewarts' "Downttown Train" album is a Gay concept album!

I had not seen this before!

Aside from the obvious "Killing of Georgie"; Rod's "Tonight's The Night" third chorus was changed to:

"Cause I love you g-boy, nothing's gonna stop us now"!

"Downtown Train" is about a Gay man in love with a Str8 man.

Dang! Why didn't someone tell me about this!? LOL

I had a Gay freaking album(Aside from My Elton John stuff) and I didn't know about it! LOL

Merry Christmas!

HUGS!
